Join the Kenai Watershed Forum for our 5th Fireside Chat of the season! We are excited to present this family-friendly event at Kenai River Brewing Co.
Dr. Adam Dunstan has been an Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Kenai Peninsula College since 2020. As a cultural and linguistic anthropologist, his focus is on religion, environmental policy, indigenous rights, and sacred sites.
This Wednesday, Dr. Dunstan will be talking about two archaeological sites near KPC in Soldotna. He will share with us the history of the Dena’ina community that lived there and how we can use their river stewardship practices in today’s world.
Members of the Kenai Watershed Forum can get their first drink on us!
We will also have tickets for KWFs Alaska Airlines Raffle available for purchase. There are only 3 weeks left to enter!
Come cozy up next to the fire with KRBC food and drink while we enjoy Dr. Adam Dunstan's presentation about the history and stewardship of the local Dena'ina community.
