PORTAL: WORLD'S FARE

This summer, we challenged our interns to create an innovative, community-oriented food + beverage concept. The result was Portal — a rotating community restaurant that offers authentic international cuisine and immersive global experiences through augmented reality technology.

In a city where apartments have reached a peak period for “unparalleled lifestyle options” and high-end finishes are the norm, our design project The Apollo has managed to stand out and surpass expectations.

Consumers are more savvy about branding than they’ve ever been. In response, many companies are taking a no-nonsense, information-first branding approach that acknowledges their audience's awareness. 

DC'S NEXT ISLAND-INSPIRED ESCAPE 

Union Market is about to turn its clocks to island time, thanks to our design project for Adam Greenberg. From tropical small plates to rum cocktails, the bar will bring a taste of Hawaii to the District.

TREND REPORT: HOTEL SOCIAL SPACES

Join us Friday, August 25, in our Bethesda office as we dive into how spaces that encourage and engineer real-life interactions are giving hotels a special advantage over the private let economy. 

SUGAR SHACK + SUPRA COMING TO SHAW

Our brokerage team is bringing a bevy of new flavors to Shaw: Sugar Shack Donuts debuts their offbeat flavors today and Supra will introduce the neighborhood to Georgian fare.
