Winter Newsletter

With 2020 drawing to a close, it will be remembered by all as the year COVID-19 hit.  We hope that 2021 will be a kinder, healthier & happier year for all.
It was wonderful to see so many people logged on to our first AGM delivered via Zoom, even with the Vodafone network issues.  We can all be very thankful that we had a successful season, albeit a bit different from the norm and we should be proud of our instructors & junior members for keeping the virus away from our Club during the training season and our well attended and managed dinghy sailing sessions. It was was fabulous to see so many cruisers out on the water enjoying this difficult racing season. Due to the restrictions it was sad that we were unable to enjoy our club house this year, we have all missed the social gatherings, particularly at this time when we should be enjoying our annual carols and mince pie evening by the fire.
