We are taking every effort to keep colleagues, patients and visitors safe during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. One way we can help keep you safe is by sharing information with you.

As part of that commitment, we want you to know that a colleague at a Lehigh Valley Hospital (LVH)–17th Street practice has tested positive for COVID-19. Processes were followed and precautions were taken to help ensure the safety of colleagues and patients.

The colleague experienced symptoms at work on March 3, 4 and 9. Patients and colleagues with whom the colleague contacted on these days have been informed and advised to self-quarantine. The colleague has not been at LVH-17th Street since March 9.

At LVH–17th Street and all LVHN locations, strict cleaning standards are being followed to help prevent the spread of infection. The most important thing you and all people can do to aid in this effort is to stay home if you are sick.

For information about how you can stay safe and all that LVHN is doing in response to the COVID-19 outbreak, visit LVHN.org/covid19.

We remain committed to sharing important information with you now and always. Thank you for partnering together to care for our community and one another.
