Funding for Bikeability - update
TABS has produced a short briefing note with our views on the current funding situation, with demand for Bikeability dwarfing government funding.
We have also produced a letter that lays out what TABS has, and will be doing to try and secure additional funding, including seeking a meeting with the new Transport Minister, Andrew Jones MP to demonstrate how the cycle training industry has grown, in professionalism, delivery capacity and its aspiration to train more children.
In this letter TABS urges members to take action locally - write to your local MP and encourage them to press the DfT for more short term funding for Bikeabilty training. We have prepared some suggested draft text plus a table of MPs divided by local authority.

We will have an update in October newsletter on progress with the Action Plan.
