Sunday 17 October
10.30am Sunday Celebration at Grace Fellowship, Little Stukeley
Colossians: Serving Jesus by Serving Others
Led by Delia Steer and Vilma Broadhurst

1.15pm Songs of Praise on BBC1
7.00pm Generation Rising at GBC
While we hold some of our activities at GBC and Grace Fellowship, we need to continue to follow sensible guidelines about keeping ourselves and others safe. This includes asking people:
  • not to attend if they have Covid symptoms,
  • to sanitise hands on arrival and during their time on the premises, and
  • to wear a mask when moving around the building (can be removed when seated)
We will also have to limit numbers for capacity reasons and have implemented a booking system for our Sunday morning worship service. Click here to book for this coming Sunday. It may be that demand exceeds available spaces so those trying to book later may receive a 'full' response. We will try to manage this by asking people who are present one week to not book in for the following week until the Friday - to give others a chance to book spaces - BUT IF THERE ARE SPACES AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY, GO AHEAD AND BOOK.
For those unable to use online booking, please phone the church office on 01480 458565 from Tuesday morning and we can book your space for you.
Teddy Bears Picnic
This Sunday (10 October) at 3.00pm at GBC

GBC Toolbox Training
We are all encouraged in the Bible to grow in our faith. Becoming a Christian is the most amazing thing that can happen, but it is the start of the journey. When we commit our lives to God and become Christian, we are not the finished product, we continue to grow in our faith throughout our lives.
The reason we have called this new initiative ‘Toolbox’ is because we all need different things (tools) at different times depending on our circumstances to help us grow in our faith. Factors that may impact what we need in our lives might include: what we know already; what we are facing right now; how long we have been a Christian. The GBC Toolbox is an opportunity for us to learn, reflect and grow in areas which are most relevant to our faith journey at the moment.

All events can be booked by either emailing the Office or by phoning 01480 458565 and leaving a message.

Induction of Carolyn Keats
Associate Pastor at GBC

This will take place at
2.00pm on Saturday 23 October

St Mary's Church, Godmanchester PE29 2AW

All are welcome to join us as we celebrate this new chapter in life and ministry for Carolyn and for GBC.  Refreshments will be available after the service in St Mary’s Church Hall.
Please park considerately – and note that there is no parking in Chadley Lane or East Chadley Lane for this event.  The easiest places to park are the Park Lane Car Park opposite Godmanchester Community Academy (PE29 2WQ),
the Post Street Car Park (PE29 2AQ), or Bridge Place Car Park (PE29 2AB) by the A1307 flyover.
During October in our “ROOM TO REFLECT” we will focus on “I am the light of the World” (John 8:12)  Jesus uses this statement to describe himself, but he also uses it to describe his followers: “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14) – WOW!!
Come and give yourself time and space to think and pray about what this means to you. Our “Room to Reflect” is now open for most of the week - just contact the office to book a slot by replying to this e-mail or phoning 01480 458565.
Does anyone have a petrol strimmer?  If so, and we could use it at Grace Fellowship, please let Daniel know.  Thanks.
Veronica Mahon has three tickets available for a concert of the Rend Collective this Sunday (10 October) at 6.30pm at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith, London. The tickets have a £29 each value but Veronica is giving them away on a first come basis as she can’t attend. Please contact the office for Veronica's contact details if interested.
The Worship Area and Resources Room remain out of bounds while the building work continues. Please do not access GBC through the side entrance opposite Brian Searle's garage. In the event of an emergency and a need to vacate the building, exit through the fire door in the kitchen and make your way to the front car park - avoid using the fire door in the Worship Area foyer.
