We are really pleased to be able to let you know that we have a provisional start date of 24 May for the next phase of our Building Project (OIKODOM 2).  This will bring our Worship Area and the room behind it right up to date so that it is as warm and welcoming as the rest of our building for all of our congregations and community groups to use and enjoy.  We are hopeful that the completion of this work alongside the planned easing of Covid related restrictions will allow us to start using our new space at some stage in the Autumn Term.

In the meantime please be assured that Leadership Team are constantly reviewing the situation and exploring all possibilities to enable people to stay connected and, where possible within current guidelines, to meet together in person.  Our thinking needs to be sensitive to the fact that while some people are very keen indeed to be able to dispense with all the restrictions others are much more cautious and less keen to meet indoors or in larger groups when that is allowed.  We expect that a continuation of broadcasting services and using virtual online platforms for some of our meetings and small groups at the same time as starting to explore ways of meeting in person for those who want to, will be the best way forward in the coming weeks.
In the context of exploring ways of meeting together in person, we are so grateful to Little Stukely Baptist Church who have offered us the use of their premises.  We are considering how we might make best use of this offer and, in the first instance, we plan to use the space to show the DVD of our Songs of Praise broadcast at 4.00pm on Sunday 16 May so that those who are unable to access that service on our YouTube channel can watch it together at Little Stukely if they would like to.  We will contact those who we think may be interested and also provide contact details for others who would like to find out more or express an interest in being included.  Further details of other opportunities to gather to watch broadcasts in the coming weeks will be shared in our regular weekly news e-mails.
And don't forget that you can book to use the covered space under our marquee in the church car park as a place to meet up with others - within the current guidelines.
