Our “Room to Reflect” is open on Fridays between 9.00am and 1.00pm.
The current theme is 'A' for Ask based on the P.R.A.Y acronym in the book ‘How to Pray’ by Pete Greig.  The room includes 3 walls with resources to help us reflect on issues for ourselves, for others we know and for those we do not know but are in need. Why not come and enjoy some peace and quiet as well as a stop for refreshment and a chat with others manning the marquee in the church car park?
You can book to come at other times if you cannot make it on Fridays – please contact the church office.
Building work on the Worship Area and Resources Room has started.
These areas are now out of bounds.
Please do not access GBC through the side entrance opposite Brian Searle's garage.
Marquee Meetings
The marquee is available for people to meet and catch up with each other from 9.00am until 3.00pm for one hour slots. Why not book a slot, come along, and see who else is here? For any bookings or enquiries about the marquee, please email Holly or ring the church office (458565)
The Littlefoot Toy Library is open Wednesday mornings between 9.00am - 10.00am. Lots of toys available to borrow for all pre-school ages. To find out more or to book a pick up/return slot, find the Littlefoot Facebook page and join the group.

Personal News
Mary Pont
We are sorry to inform you that Mary died last Tuesday morning (22 June) while at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. Mary had had an operation on a broken ankle the previous weekend. Although the operation had gone well, Mary was taken into intensive care the following day. Details of the funeral arrangements will be shared when they are available.
Abe and Rachel Kalyapu
We are delighted to let you know that Abe and Rachel welcomed their new baby boy, Isake Noah, to their family on Monday - a brother for Chizemo.
Jane Pardoe
Jane and Steve Pardoe, with daughters Jo and Emma, were part of our fellowship some fifteen years ago before moving to Canada. We have recently received sad news that Jane, after a month of increasing memory, sight and now motor symptoms, has been diagnosed with Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease, which is a degenerative brain disorder. It has a short life expectancy (months) and no treatment options. Jane is currently receiving palliative care. Emma has written to say, 'We are still praying for healing and believing God can do that but also understanding (or trying!) that healing Mum's body here on earth might not be part of His plan. If you feel so led please pray for us all as we continue to journey through this together'.
Rex Botham
Many GBC friends will remember Rex and Kirsty Botham, who were part of the GBC family for some time before moving to the Oxford area. We are sorry to inform you that Rex died on Wednesday 9 June. Rex had been suffering with cancer and had been in hospital for 5 weeks prior to his death. Funeral arrangements are being made and the funeral will be broadcast on YouTube.  Kirsty is happy for people to be in touch - please note that she has moved.
