Mary Pont
Mary's funeral will be held at 4.00pm on Monday 19 July at the Cambridge Crematorium West Chapel. There is plenty of space and we would encourage people to attend as a testimony to Mary.
Following the service, food will be served at GBC.

7.30pm on 22 July

Zoom details will be sent to members in due course.

Grace Fellowship, Little Stukeley
During July there will be no repeat broadcasts in the afternoon at Grace Fellowship of the GBC Sunday morning service.
In August it is planned to broadcast the morning service at Grace Fellowship at the same time (10.30am) as that on YouTube, and similarly for Songs of Praise. Drinks will be available following the service.
This will give opportunity to meet with others and watch the service "live".
Further details about the arrangements will follow in due course.
Friday evening at 7.00pm at St Anne's School
FoodBank Needs
We have a Tesco Summer Collection from Thursday 15 July to Saturday 17 July and normally two local companies would be actively involved, but due to COVID, and that all their staff are working from home or are still furloughed until the end of September, they are unable to help this summer.
If you can help and want to be involved would you please contact, by phone or email, Phil Jones (phil.jones@gbcfoodbank.org.uk or 07850 506968)  or Joe George (joe.george@gbcfoodbank.org.uk or 01480 277239)
The Tesco Collection will be 9.00am to 5.00pm each day, and any support you can offer would be appreciated. We will be providing masks, gloves and sanitiser for  your safety.

We look forward to seeing you all there and being "Together"
Our “Room to Reflect” is open on Fridays between 9.00am and 1.00pm.
This week we have changed the theme for the summer. It is “Yield” based on the P.R.A.Y. acronym in the book ‘How to Pray’ by Pete Greig.
1 Kings 19:10-13 Elijah waited patiently for the presence of God. Have you made space for God recently? Are you still expecting him to show up as he has in the past? Come and wait patiently and attentively for God’s presence and voice in the reflection room. This is a recent prayer from Lectio 365:
God, I confess that I am a creature of habit and I want You to speak and move in predictable ways. I surrender my attachment to what is familiar. I am hungry for an encounter with you. I yield my expectations and wait patiently for your presence – however you want to meet with me.
You can book to come at other times if you cannot make it on Fridays – please contact the church office.
Birthdays coming up in the next few weeks are as follows (addresses in Blue Pages):
9 July - Martin Webb | 22 July - James Ambler
31 July - Peter Johnson & Kayleigh Timmis

If you would like the church to celebrate your birthday, please email birthdays@godmanchesterbaptist.org with your birthday and address (if it isn’t in the Blue Pages). Unless you wish to opt out, your birthday (minus the year!) will also go in the weekly church news so others can help you celebrate too.
The Littlefoot Toy Library is open Wednesday mornings between 9.00am - 10.00am during term time - closing for the summer on Wednesday 21 July.
Lots of toys available to borrow for all pre-school ages. To find out more or to book a pick up/return slot, find the Littlefoot Facebook page and join the group.

Marquee Meetings
The marquee is available for people to meet and catch up with each other from 9.00am until 3.00pm for one hour slots. Why not book a slot, come along, and see who else is here? For any bookings or enquiries about the marquee, please email Holly or ring the church office (458565)
Building work on the Worship Area and Resources Room has started.
These areas are now out of bounds.
Please do not access GBC through the side entrance opposite Brian Searle's garage.
In the event of an emergency and a need to vacate the building, exit through the fire door in the kitchen and make your way to the front car park - avoid using the fire door in the Worship Area foyer.
