Sunday 10 May at 7.00pm - Baptists Together Prayer Broadcast
The latest in the series of Baptists Together Prayer broadcasts will feature Rev Dr Kate Coleman, former BUGB President and founding director of Next Leadership alongside the General Secretary Lynn Green. Following on from the time of prayer Baptists Together will be welcoming the new President, Yinka Oyekan, praying for him and finding out about his hopes for his year as President. This induction was to have taken place during the Baptist Assembly, but the hope is that even more will be able to join in online this year. Yinka will be joined by current President Ken Benjamin.

AIC newsletter
The Anglo-Indian Concern newsletter is available now, with news of the extreme difficulties the charity is having getting help to the needy in Chennai. As Rachel Thurley usually gives out copies at church, she would be grateful if you would be willing to receive it by email.  If you would like a copy,  please send an email to Rachel at  <rachelthurley@yahoo.co.uk> and she will send you one.

Gift Aid Annual Statements 2019/2020
If you are registered with us to claim Gift Aid on your donations to GBC, you normally receive an annual statement in April or May detailing how much we have claimed in your name during the previous tax year. However this year, it is taking a bit longer to produce the statements and to send them out so please be patient!  However if you do need your figures imminently e.g. for filing income tax returns, child tax reviews etc., please do contact Hazel Bray (hazelbray@googlemail.com) and she will respond as soon as possible. If you would like to register for Gift Aid, please see our website for details.
A new resource for those who would like to listen to a daily devotional, introduced by Justin Welby. Listen to the hymn for the day and then some thoughts and prayers linked to it - for about 15-20 minutes.  Phone the free phone number above.
