Marquee Meetings
We have set up a marquee in the car park which will be available for people to meet and catch up with each other (in groups of up to six).
On Tuesday 20 April the marquee will be available from 9.00am until 3.00pm for one hour slots – why not book a slot, come along, and see who else is here?
Over the next few weeks we hope to make the marquee more available. If you want to book in as a group of six, please contact us and we will see what we can do!
For any bookings or enquiries about the marquee please email holly.carter@godmanchesterbaptist.org or ring the church office (458565)
The Littlefoot Toy Library re-opens again on Wednesday mornings, starting this coming Wednesday (21 April), between  9.00am - 10.00am.  Lots of toys available to borrow for all pre-school ages.  To find out more or to book a pick up/return slot, find the Littlefoot Facebook page and join the group.
Birthdays coming up in the next few weeks are as follows (addresses in Blue Pages):
25 April - Sarah Thurley | 1 May - Wendy Pointer
16 May - Andy Blakey | 24 May - Rachel Johnson | 31 May - Pat Jones

If you would like the church to celebrate your birthday, please email birthdays@godmanchesterbaptist.org with your birthday and address (if it isn’t in the Blue Pages). Unless you wish to opt out, your birthday (minus the year!) will also go in the weekly church news so others can help you celebrate too.
Storage space needed
Do you have any storage space that we could use for storing boxes of various sizes or tents and such like for a few months while the building work on the Worship Area and Resources Room is being done?
If so, please contact the church office by email or phone (458565). Thank you.

Blessing our community in practical ways
Thanks to your kind donations over the last few weeks we have been able to bless people with hampers containg treats such as chocolates, snacks and handcream and many other things. Further donations are welcome - just drop them off at GBC.

Karen Smith writes: "As the end of two years of resettlement was reached at the end of March, we have been ‘officially’ thanked by the Home Office for our contribution so far in resettling over 500 refugees through community sponsorship.
This recent blog post from Birmingham University may be of interest as it reflects on what motivates Faith groups to get involved."
