Welcome to our January e-Newsletter!

Welcome back, we hope you all had a good break and are looking forward to the year ahead.
Changes for National Age Groups 2015

There has been a change to the NAGs for 2015. Those who are 15 by 31/12/15 will be able to select whether they swim in 13-15yrs or 15-17yrs age group, achieving skill level 3 or 4.

Aquavision are therefore starting the year with 19 swimmers qualified for NAGs 2015, which is a great achievement for so early in the year, almost two thirds of the way towards our yearly target.
As a club we aim to enter 5 teams; 12&U Competitive, 12&U Recreational, 13-15 Competitive and two additional teams depending on age range of swimmers.

London Young Volunteer Day - 21st February 2015

Are you between 14 and 25 years of age and looking to access training opportunities to volunteer within aquatics?

The Region is looking to increase the number of trained young people and to improve accessibility to formal and informal training opportunities. This day will be a packed day, we will be holding a YOUNG AQUATIC HELPER WORKSHOP and a SCUK Safe In Sport Workshop.

THIS DAY IS OPEN TO ALL DISCIPLINES ACROSS AQUATICS.

If you would like to attend this day please contact Helen Davies (helen.davies@swimming.org) for a booking form.

Christmas Display

Thank you to all those who supported the annual Christmas Display on 20th December 2014.
The event saw a mixture of swimmers, some very experienced but also a large number of girls swimming in their first ever performance. All girls swam exceptionally well, showing off their hard work from the last few months.  To date we have raised £1600 from the event.
Natalia bids farewell to Aquavision

Natalia will be leaving Aquavision during the middle of
February 2015. She has taken a role coaching the Swiss Synchronised Swimming Team, attending camps with them during the next year. We would like to thank her for everything she has done for Aquavision over the past year and would like to wish her well in the future.
