British Gas National Championships
Last weekend Aquavision took part in the annual British Gas National Age Group Synchronised Swimming Championships.
Aquavision entered 34 girls this year who competed in a range of events with 18 qualifying for competitive figures and proved itself to be one of the top clubs in the country.  All the girls performed exceptionally well against some strong competition and although we didn't make it back with any medals Aquavision can certainly feel proud to have had so many girls qualify many taking part in their first Nationals.

A summary of all the Nationals events can be found on our website here.
Christmas Show

The Aquavision Christmas Show will be on Saturday, 20th December at Southgate Leisure Centre between 5-7pm.

The girls have been working hard on their routines over the last few weeks and are really excited to be able to perform to friends and family. We are also delighted to announce that this year we will be joined by swimmers from Aqualina and Erith & District Clubs.

As in previous years we expect this to be a very popular event, therefore we are encouraging you to book your tickets in advance.  To book your ticket please click here.

Your Charity - Friends of Aquavision

Aquavision is proud to be both a swimming club and a charity and we rely on the donations from you, our supporters, to help keep our coaching at both a consistently high standard and at an accessible cost.

Until now only those that played an active part in swimming could join the club as a member but as a charity we understand that many of our supporters may want to keep in touch, attend events and support us through sponsorship events and fundraising appeals.  We have therefore decided to create a new kind of membership called “Friends of Aquavision”.

By becoming a Friend of Aquavision you are able to support our charitable work without taking part in swimming activities.  This membership is perfect for friends, family and other supporters and is available as an annual membership fee of £20.00.

Friends of Aquavision support the club through their subscription (as an annual donation) and it is a quick and easy way to ensure that they are kept up-to-date with all Aquavision news and events.

If you are interested in supporting the club as a Friend of Aquavision then you can sign up now by clicking here.
New Trustees

We are delighted to announce that following a call for nominations Aquavision has appointed three new Trustees to the Board.  Ray Khan, Diane Preston and Wendy Weir were elected to the Board at the last Trustee meeting and have recently met Chair, Debbie Harris, and Treasurer, David Hunter, to discuss their new roles and get up to speed with everything happening at Aquavision.

We're really excited to have some new faces join the Board and hope our new Trustees enjoy working with us to help grow Aquavision over the coming years.
