The book of Revelation is an exciting book! It's essentially the recorded communication from God the Father to Jesus concerning the end of time. Which is why it can also be a confusing book—beasts and battles, seals and saints. Just what in the world is going on!!

On Sunday, we began our study of this great book with an introduction and overview. And we found that this book is rather quite orderly. In fact, the entire book is outlined in Revelation 1:19—"Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this." This may sound simplistic, but it is very significant for a number of reasons. Listen to our introduction and overview study of Revelation and learn why!

Join us this Sunday at 10am in the Regency Ballroom as we begin in chapter 1—read ahead…take notes…bring your questions…and come ready to hear what God wants to say to you through His word!

Construction is done! We are happy to announce that the dust has settled (and has been swept) and we're ready to restart Children's Ministry this Sunday, September 8th! Our facility upgrade will allow all three classes (Nursery, Pre-K, and K-5th) to be on the same level of the Regency Building. Thank you for being so flexible this summer as we took a break from Children's Ministry! It was such a blessing to worship with everyone in the Ballroom. We're excited for this next season and for the opportunity to share the love of Jesus with the kids again! Parents—we are updating our check in system! Read below to see how you can help us with a smooth transition before Sunday morning.

Attention Parents!

We don't want anything getting in the way of your kids knowing Jesus more and more, growing in their relationship with Him, and going out into the world as shining lights for His glory. That's why the safety and security of your children is important to us. To better serve them and you, we’ve chosen KidCheck as our new check-in solution for Children's Ministry to bring you the best check-in experience and to keep your children safe.

We will go live with KidCheck on September 8th. To help the roll-out go smoothly, it would be very helpful to create your account prior to this date. Create your free account at go.kidcheck.com, select “Create Your KidCheck Account,” and follow the on-screen prompts. You can also download the free KidCheck Mobile Check-In app from the App Store or Google Play Store to create, manage, and update your account right on your phone. Either option is simple and will only take a few minutes.

Once you’ve created your account, simply use your 10 digit phone number at the check-in kiosks by the children's ministry doors on Sundays to check your child(ren) in.

A few helpful hints…
• It works best if one parent add children to their account and adds the other parent as an approved guardian (who can also create a free KidCheck account). When both parents add kids, the system gets confused and may have issues.
• If your child has no allergies or medical issues, please leave this field blank. If there is any text in this box (like 'None'), it will add it to the label.

Thank you for your participation. If you have any questions, please contact Pastor Nate at nate@calvarychapelsaintcloud.org or 320-259-7720.

Be Encouraged

“Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” (Revelation 1:3).

In Mark 13, Jesus says something interesting—“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” It’s interesting because there came a time when God the Father had to fill in Jesus about the end of time.

Think about it…God needed to communicate a message to Jesus—and then the glorified Jesus in all of His awe and majesty delivered the same message to His servant John, who in turn is now delivering the same message to us…so that we could read and hear and heed and be blessed.

Did you know that you will be blessed for reading the book of Revelation? And for hearing the book of Revelation being read? And for keeping the things which are written in it?

God wants to bless you through this book! More than that, God wants you to know His plan for this planet. Even more than that—He wants you to be aware of His hope for the people of this planet, for the time is near. We are nearer now than ever for His imminent return—are you ready? He is extending hope to you today—will you accept His invitation of grace? The time is near. God’s word says if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. You can do that right now! Ask God for forgiveness. Believe that Jesus died for your sin and that God raised Him to life. Trust Him as your Savior and follow Him as Lord. And then, Revelation won't be the end, but the beginning of eternity!
