SC811 September Updates

2016 has been a busy year for excavation projects. In April we had our highest volume month on record at 74,699 locate notices submitted. In August we surpassed that number by more that 6,000 notices with a total of 80,766 for the month! Based on these trends, we expect that 2016 will surpass 2006 as the highest volume year on record.

Excavator Reports in the Portal

After rolling out the member reports last month, we are excited to announce that the excavator reports are now ready as well. Excavators can now see the percentage of locate notices they are closing versus letting the system close, which notices they are waiting to be responded to, which notices need to be checked before digging can begin and which notices need to be closed. To learn more about the excavator reports, click here

811 Run: Another Success!

Thanks to everyone who participated, volunteered or sponsored the 3rd Annual 811 Run. We had 536 runners and walkers and we got great feedback about the event. We also raised $2500 for the SC State Firefighters Association Foundation!

811 Sporting Clays Tournament

The second annual Sporting Clays Tournament will be held on Friday, October 7 at Live Oaks Sportmans Club. There are limited spots for this event and you must register by September 30. Holiday Closing

SC811 will be closed on Monday, September 5th in observation on Labor Day. As always we are open 24/7 for emergency locates.
