On behalf of the LINKAGES project, we are pleased to invite you to this exciting event that we are convening in recognition of World AIDS Day. LINKAGES is the U.S. President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief and U.S. Agency for International Development's first global project dedicated to key populations (KP) — sex workers, men who have sex with men, people who inject drugs, and transgender people. Presenters and panelists from a range of organizations, including USAID, Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator, United Nations Development Programme, World Health Organization, The Global Fund, the Network of Sex Work Projects, the Global Forum on MSM and HIV, FHI 360, Johns Hopkins University, Futures Group and others, will discuss the latest developments and innovations that support programming for KP.

THIS EVENT WILL:

Increase awareness of the centrality of KP programming and research in achieving an AIDS-free generation

Highlight the importance of evidence-informed and rights-based HIV programming in order to promote, protect, and secure the human rights of KP

Promote partnerships (public, private, academia) and the meaningful engagement of KP networks in the HIV response

Feature conversations about three KP-themed journal supplements, whose guest editors will lead panel discussions with technical experts and KP representatives

Provide a networking opportunity and promote knowledge sharing among partners working to advance KP research, policy, and practice

RSVP BY NOVEMBER 22

Space is limited and registration is required. Please register for the event by November 22. There is no fee to attend and lunch will be provided.
