Nederburg Which Wine, Which Cheese Pairing: Single Cheese & Wine R55 per person | Double Cheese & Wine R75 per person
Join us at Nederburg for a delicious alternative to the regular wine tasting with Which Wine, Which Cheese that pairs some of the best South African cheeses with Nederburg’s elegant Manor House and Ingenuity wines. With so many flavours, textures and varieties of cheese available, the ideal matching can be quite a challenge. Contrary to popular belief, white wines often complement cheese better than reds but when artfully combined, you can show both red and white wines to best effect with the right cheese.
We’ll show you how simple and what fun it is selecting the perfect wine to balance the flavour, sweetness, softness and texture of the cheese. A range of exceptional goats milk cheeses are sourced from the Foxenburg Estate, which is situated on the spectacular northern slopes of the Groenberg Mountain just 15 minutes from the centre of Wellington in the Western Cape. Here, a herd of Swiss Saanen goats is expressly maintained on the certified organic farm pastures for the production of premium quality goats milk cheeses made from 100% whole goat milk, free of preservatives, hormones, antibiotics and artificial colourants. The goat’s milk is influenced by the goats foraging on the Foxenburg organic mountain terroir, giving the cheeses the distinct aroma, flavour and texture.
The single option offers four wines from the Manor House and Ingenuity collection paired with four cheeses whilst the double tasting provides eight cheeses to match the four wines. For more information please visit www.nederburg.co.za Tel: 021 862 3104 email@example.com
