FROM THE EDITORS "VIRTUAL NEWS" DESK
Hi everyone. This week I spent some time working on Tanzu Build Service amongst other things which we will soon be working on with a customer. This is something I have not had much exposure to and so I dove into the getting started guide only to find that I had issues that were related to Kubernetes. This got me thinking about the complexity and many moving parts that Kubernetes can introduce, far beyond the scope of many tutorials that just assume you are all setup. It might be easy to think this can be solved by using one of the big Kubernetes cloud service providers, but really that can often make the problem even harder by hiding much of the underlying technology that may be required in a specific configuration. My takeaway from this was that I need more Kubernetes skills of course. But also that we often don't realize how complex our systems have become and how hard they are to get right. Our architects, sysadmins, DevOps engineers and other infrastructure and service related people who often go unnoticed in our organizations should be given much praise. So I hope any of you reading this know how much we appreciate you and your support.

I wish everyone celebrating a happy Thanksgiving, please enjoy the latest newsletter full of news for you.
