CHANGES IN MASKING PRACTICE
With new guidelines from the diocese and a significant drop in COVID cases in Orange County, we will return to the following practices regarding masking in worship and other indoor gatherings:
You may always choose to wear a mask.
Masking for attendees will now be optional. The ministers of Communion will remain masked during the consecration and distribution of Communion, and we will continue to sanitize our hands before Communion.
We will set aside a couple of rows of seats in the rear of the sanctuary for people who want to wear masks and only sit with masked people. If you aren’t wearing a mask, please don’t sit in these rows.
All these practices assume that you are vaccinated. If you are not vaccinated, you must wear a mask at all times indoors.
As always, if you are ill, or if you have a positive COVID test, please stay home until you are better/testing negative. If you test positive, please inform the people with whom you have been in contact recently.

SUNDAY SHOWERS CLOTHING DRIVE
Have you seen the Sunday Showers set up behind the Parish Hall on Sundays? Go look! It is amazing! The self-contained shower van allows any of our Sunday Supper guests to have a refreshing shower each week. Imagine how great that feels. After drying off with a clean towel, our guests are offered underwear and a clean t-shirt to begin their week if they want. Women often are grateful to receive monthly period supplies which are SO expensive.
Sunday Showers is run by a small group of dedicated St. Paul's volunteers - and they would LOVE to hear from you if you can devote a bit of time each month to this ministry. ALL of us can help this ministry by contributing clothes and supplies to the program. Please put any of these supplies on your shopping list. There is a box at church for collections or drop them off at the office. Contact Lily Brown with questions: firstname.lastname@example.org.

Creator God, who placed this planet
and all its resources into our care,
encourage those who now remind us
of our responsibilities, both to you
and future generations, to do all
that is necessary, whatever the cost,
to save this world that we call home,
so our children and theirs might not
look back, both in shame and anger,
at what we, in denial, have failed to do - From: https://www.faithandworship.com/
Guardian of the seasons, keeper of every time, tune us so to your rhythms that we may know the occasion for stillness and the moment for action. May we be so prepared, so aware, so awakened in our waiting that when you prompt us into motion, our hands may be your hands and our purposes your own. Amen
- Jan Richardson
We pray for those who are afraid, lost, and in the midst of the turmoil of spirit and mind as we remember those in need of God's healing presence, in illness, grief, and during these challenging times: Sylvia, Doriel, Holland, Bob, Ralph, Kathryn, Jean, the Chai family, Tom, Becky, Susan, Christine, Michael, Susan, the Takahashi family, Andalee, Jean, Heidi, Claire, Katie, Ruth, Connie, Gail, the Lewis family, Betty, Anna Maria. Gracious God, we entrust all who are dear to us to your never-failing care and love. Guide us so that we may reflect your love and grace to the world. Amen.
We pray for the following members of our parish:
Estelle & Steve Holder and their daughter Emily
John & Shari Lawrence
Tricia Houston and her daughter Ashlyn
