The past couple of weeks I have been reading Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72 by Hunter S. Thompson.
Not even that maniac could have imagined an election as absurd as the one we are currently in.
But I can imagine him ranting and raving with a joint in one hand, a rum in the other, something like this...
"Currently, the plane is racing towards the mountain, it's running out of fuel, and what little fuel we have left is burning the remaining engine apart.
Not only have the flight attendants bailed out with the last of the parachutes and salty snacks but that DRUNK BEAST of a co-pilot is singing Christmas show tunes over the Emergency Frequency.
This may not end well... Goddamn RIGHT I'll have another drink!"
So if you would like to celebrate end times with some wine and snacks come on down to The Adobe at 470 Tyler St., Monterey, CA.
I'm sure it will be memorable.
