EXPANSION

MONTEREY COUNTY NORML's
NEW OFFICE IN SALINAS

16 W Gabilan Street
Salinas, CA 93901
831.298.0655

NOTE: Meetings by Appointment ONLY

Last month we received a very generous in kind donation from Moncrief & Hart for a FREE office space in Salinas just down the street from the Rotunda, and the Monterey County Superior Courthouse.

And for the record it is a hell of a lot more fun to pregame in the conference room watching the city of Salinas or the county of Monterey board meetings on the giant flat screen TV and then skipping over once they start getting close to our key agenda items.

There is even a kegerator downstairs with three different beers on tap... ;)

Slack Tutorial - Inbox Zero for Everything in 11 Minutes

Expansion Night Update from Sacramento

Earlier last month we had a Lobby and Expansion Day up in Sacramento and it went rather well.

We started the evening off by harvesting a list of attendees from the room and showed them how Slack works.

Since then we have built out the following channels but I held back on two, Calaveras and Santa Cruz county, for separate reasons.

First when I began looking up Calaveras county I ran across the following article about the Calaveras Cannabis Alliance and it sounds like you already have an active group there so I would suggest contacting them and if I get any more people interested in your area I intend to send them your way.

Second I don't need to build a NORML Chapter or Slack Team for Santa Cruz County because they already have 5 major groups actively working towards legalization. I in fact sit on the board of the Cannabis Advocates Alliance and we already have a slack channel.

-ASC (The Association for Standardized Cannabis)

-CAA (Cannabis Advocates Alliance)

-RCSC (Responsible Cultivation Santa Cruz)

-SCM2 (Santa Cruz Mountains for Sustainable Cannabis Medicine)

-SCVA (Santa Cruz Vetarans Alliance)

So if you already have an active group going in your county or city and you would like it listed here instead of the ones listed below just let us know and we will send them your way.

Since the expansion night we have set up the following 8 Counties and the State of California with a Slack Team to begin organizing the local areas that still need it.
