Newly Forecasted USAID Funding Opportunities

In November 2018, USAID added up to $847 million in newly forecasted funding opportunities to the Mission Forecast. An analysis of the largest of these anticipated opportunities is included below. 
Iraq anticipates a single award for $100M to $300M in the Working in Crisis and Conflict sector. This Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contract (IDIQ) is entitled USAID/Iraq Durable Communities and Economic Opportunities. The anticipated solicitation release date is February 29, 2019.

Egypt is forecasted to receive a total of $46M-$104M in four separate awards. The largest is a Task Order/Delivery Order in Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance sector for $25M-$50M. Also, an Economic Governance Flagship Activity aims to increase the effectiveness of governance systems across multiple ministries with the aim of increasing U.S. and international investment. The other forecasted awards are under the Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance sector.

Pakistan anticipates a three different awards for a total of $45M-$100M. The largest award Pakistan anticipates is the Pakistan Youth Development Project (PYDP), a cooperative agreement estimated for $25M-$50M in the Education sector. The goal for this is to prepare Pakistani youth for participation in the workforce. The other anticipated award is for $10M-$25M for Women's Economic Empowerment.

India anticipates four separate awards in the Global Health sector for a total of $22M-$55M. The Accelerator to End-TB is a Broad Agency Announcement for $10M-25M. The other three cooperative agreements are for $4M-$10M each all aiming to increase healthcare and health services in India.
