Saturday morning the West Palm Beach Police Department’s Underwater Search and Recovery Team hosted the 2nd Annual Intracoastal Waterway Dive Clean-up in Downtown West Palm Beach. We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to the team and volunteers. Everything from an early 1900s anchor to an iPhone 6 were among the “treasures” divers pulled up from the Intracoastal Waterway. The city has installed new parking meters and there are some new features.
If you pay by credit card, you can get a receipt online. Great if you need to expense parking.
The rates are not going up.
Meters do not use Apple Pay.
Parkmobile app still works on your phone.
There is no surcharge for using your credit card at the meter.
Coins are accepted, but only quarters and dollar coins.
Paneterie has announced that its authentic French menu of bakery items, light lunch selections, coffees and teas, sweets and patisseries are now available for catering orders for any occasion.
Breakfast Packages include fresh-baked croissants, breakfast sandwiches, and fruit salads for $39- $102.
Refreshment Packages include cookie and macaron platters, mini patisseries, coffee and tea for $28 - $65.
Lunch Packages include artisanal sandwiches, salad bowls, quiches and combo platters for $18 - $ 115.

During the summer chances are that the weather will be over 90 degrees and what better way to beat the heat than to play in the water! To escape the heat, visit the Centennial Square Fountains at the West Palm Beach Waterfront. This fun and communal area provides entertainment predominantly for children’s play, seating for relaxation, and surrounding eateries for your enjoyment. The fountains are available from sunrise to sunset. If you’re interested in bringing a group of ten or more, a permit is required. Two-hour permits are $25 plus tax for residents and $35 for groups outside city limits. The fountains can be reserved at the Parks and Recreation Administrative Offices located at 401 Clematis St (3rd Floor). Beat the heat, and come out for some fun in the Fountains. Maestro del Mar Chef Challenge
Palm Beach County is not only known for being a top vacation destination, but also for having the top culinary talent in the country. The 2015 Feast of the Sea - Maestro del Mar Chef Challenge presented by the West Palm BeachArts & Entertainment District continues through the summer with celebrity chefs competing for the title of Maestro del Mar 2015 Champion. Chefs will compete in an Ultimate Chef Showdown during semi-finals then advance to the Grand Tasting Finale on Oct. 23rd in Downtown West Palm Beach. Winners of the semi-finals will compete against defending Champion Eugenio Santucci representing Ristorante Santucci located at 610 Clematis St. #1. Each chef will have 60 minutes to create a dish for the judges featuring an unknown mystery ingredient prepared with fresh produce, baked goods, and more courtesy of West Palm Beach Whole Foods Market.
See who will advance at the semi-finals. Limited passes are available for $35. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres prepared by featured chefs, refreshing cocktails, and a commemorative catalog as you mingle with friends for an unforgettable night of flavors and fun!
