50 Years of Washington Sea Grant 

In honor of the 50th anniversary of Washington Sea Grant, we're digging through our photo archive to share moments from our program's history. This photo from the 1970s shows University of Washington students and researchers making observations out in the field. 
Coastal Café is a radio program jointly produced by
Washington Sea Grant and KPTZ 91.9 FM. Coastal Café explores the latest in marine science with researchers, policy experts and people who live and work along our coast.


A recent episode featured a conversation focused on Southern Resident Killer Whales and related recovery efforts, with Tara Galuska, the Orca Recovery Coordinator in the Governor's Salmon Recovery Office, and Julie Watson, the Killer Whale Policy Lead at Washington's Department of Fish and Wildlife.  

DEI Spotlight 

This section highlights a resource related to diversity, equity and inclusion with the aim of deepening understanding of how social justice and marine science and policy intersect.
