Mission Accomplished!
Christopher and Nathan shared so many great experiences together over the past 7 weeks, too many to count in a single Photo Journal.  They cherished the time.  Christopher is back in PNG with the rest of the family and Nathan is one week into ALERT Basic Training.
As if visiting family, friends, and four college campuses, sorting through purchases, exercising the mind and body, and managing all kinds of logistics weren't enough for these two - 90 minutes of zip-lining adventure served as one final memory for this trip.
Nathan and Christopher were often asked during this trip if they were brothers.  Christopher started replying, "Yes, this is my little brother in Christ".  Nathan was so grateful that his dad was willing to get him transitioned into life in the USA.
Nathan will be in Basic Training until November 19.  The second two phases of his training begin in January. All but single unrelated females may write Nathan email letters of encouragement during Basic Training at Write "Nathan Clark" in the subject line.  He will not be able to return your letters during training. He will be challenged physically, mentally and spiritually beyond anything he's experienced before in his life.  We're excited to see how God continues to mold him into His servant.  Check out ALERT Academy's Facebook page to learn more about them.  You can check in on the Unit 65 Flickr album for more photos like this one of early morning PT.  Nathan is the tall recruit in the back of the line on the left.
The airline travel through Asia and Europe to get to the US and back took twice as long as our normal Pacific route, but we're so thankful that at least there was still an option available to travel at this time.   From door to door, the return trip to PNG took 79 hours!  God gave Christopher a huge blessing with three seats to stretch out across on all three International flights.
Christopher's sister Doanie and husband Duane dropped Christopher off at the airport.
Back here in PNG, the four of us are enjoying the reunion, although we all miss Nathan. Our province is being hit hard with COVID at the present time, so we're back to a limited capacity at church and public gatherings.

Thank you for your prayers for the Clark 5 and for the nation of Papua New Guinea.
