The Directors Chair Cont...

I asst directed Kirsten Vangsness Cleo Theo and Wu
(the show I was an understudy for at NOTE last year)
and MESS (her one woman show)!
Not only did we have shows in LA
but we took it to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in rep!
With wonderful crowds and Five Star Reviews,
"The Fempire" (as we called it) was a massive hit.

I was at the Festival for the final ten days
and then got to go visit home for a little while after.
It was brilliant. Exactly what my soul needed.

Next I directed a One Act for the Skypilot Theatre Company in LA.
It was another wonderful learning experience that Im truly grateful to my Director for Banshee (at NOTE) James Carey for asking me to take part in.

The Hollywood Performance Marathon
SATURDAY!

At Theatre of NOTE

(via BroadwayWorld.com)
"NOTE's Hollywood Performance Marathon celebrates its
twenty-fifth year with over 50 performers who will donate their time
and talent to benefit Theatre of NOTE.
This highly anticipated, quarter of a century, local tradition is an all-day-all-night extravaganza of eclectic performances, including comedy, juggling, poetry, puppets, performance art, dance, music, monologues and much more!
Fan favorites such as Paul Dooley ("Cars", "16 Candles"),
Winnie Holzman ("My So Called Life", "Wicked")
Tom Lenk ("Buffy the Vampire Slayer"),
Kirsten Vangsness ("Criminial Minds"),
Mark FiteJim Turner, Matthew Cuban, Scot Nery, Karl Herlinger,
and many other talented artists will be performing."

This Saturday from 3pm-3am I will be there for the whole thing (phew!).
I will ALSO be performing, with these fine acts above, a poem of my own in the 11.15pm slot!

Its $25 for an ALL DAY tkt and its SO WORTH EVERY PENNY!
IF you are in LA and you can come for even one hour
(One year we had the cast of the colour purple visit.. just sayin'!!!)
you never know what you'll get to see... and I promise you wont regret it.

If you are NOT in LA and would still like to contribute
then you can give to my Marathon-A-Thon via this facebook fundraiser link
https://www.facebook.com/donate/509145433062077/
(and everyone who donates I promise to thank you with a cute animal gif) :)

And this little blog below is a wonderful read not just about the history of the Marathon (did you know Tenacious D performed for us once?!?!) but also about our Beloved Scotty and his relationship with it (the first time I saw him perform was at my first Performance Marathon)

VEGGIE RECIPE TIME!

VIOLIFE FETA IS WONDERFUL

Going Vegan the one thing that held me back was Cheese!
"I cant live without cheese" I would tell myself over and over again...
Well first off I can and I have and its much easier than ever thought

Second off the vegan cheese world is getting better and better each year.

My absolute favourite thing right now is VIOLIFE Feta cheese.
I can eat it plain, I put it into wraps, I cook it on a Pizza
or I can crumble it into some cooked mushrooms.

Read more about it and other Violife Cheeses here- VIOLIFE
