Special Institution Fee Reduced $100 - To Be Eliminated in 5 Years

After years of work by the Graduate Student Government, President Peterson, and so many others, the Special Institution Fee is being rolled into tuition and out of fees. Next year the per semester SIF will be $444 instead of $544. Georgia Tech has requested that the SIF be reduced by $100 each of the next five years until the fee is eventually eliminated for graduate students. (A formal press release from Graduate Student Government is forthcoming.)
