MEMBER HIGHLIGHTS

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy's Emerging Leaders' Summit

The three-day Emerging Leaders' SummitAugust, 11-13, 2021, is a virtual experience with participation centered on young people aged 14-35 but open to everybody. The Summit will strengthen connections between young leaders and their networks, spark momentum for youth movements for nature and climate justice and provide a space for artistic creation utilizing trails and the outdoors as a muse.

We hope that young people from around the world will participate in capacity-building workshops and networking events, will host and share artistic expression, and contribute to creating outcomes like equity maps and a virtual art exhibit.
