Get to know a new way to CrossFit!!

March 29th 2015, CrossFit Basel hosts a CrossFit Strongman Trainer Course. You already know the Atlas Stones from our Strength Part in the classes - this is part of Strongman Training. If you like to intensify these kind of workouts, you should register NOW!

The CrossFit Strongman Trainer Course is a further education of CrossFit and accessible for everyone - not only for trainers. In this one-day-course you will learn how to lift Atlas stones, flip tires or carry kegs and the yoke. Plus, you will learn how to integrate these movements into your CrossFit routine.

Due to the fact that the objects you lift are odd and awkward in their sizes and shapes, it is a whole new challenge for your coordination and strength. This training also provides you with ideal conditions to implement strength and coordination more efficiently in your daily life.

In any case, this course guarantees a ton of fun and an outstanding learnig effect!

Benchmark Week 

Show us your maximum strength!

It's time for the Benchmark week again! The week of March 9th 2015 will be your chance to test your 1-max-rep in the three exercises Deadlift, Push Press and Back Squat. Furthermore you will get the chance to improve your times in the workouts Baseline, Benchmark and Fran.

CrossFit Games Open 

Watch the Heat times!

The Reebok CrossFit Games Open are on since February 26 2015 - and CrossFit Basel is in the midst of the event. As we informed in a previous Nesletter on Facebook and on the blog, we offer heat times from Friday to Monday at the box, where you can absolve the Workout.

We ask you to register as early as possible (on site not by phone) - lists hang out as of Friday afternoon - and secure your spot. We won't offer ANY additional heat times no more - if you didn't register on time, you won't be able to do the workout. Monday will always be busy, therefore we recommend to book a slot on Friday, Saturday or Sunday - some of the heats last weekend weren't even booked at all.

Here are the workout times again:
Friday: 7:30 - 9:30 pm
Saturday: 3:00 - 5:00 pm (no slots on March 14 and 21!) / 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Sunday: 2:00 - 4:00 pm (no slots on March 15 and 22!) / 7:00 - 9:00 pm
Monday: 2:30 - 4:30 pm (reserved for competition athletes only) / 7:30 - 9:30

Additionally, it is absolutely necessary that you enter your scores by midnight on Monday. The scores submission will be closed after that and your points will be lost. So remember - after absolving the Workout, go online immediately and enter those scores!
