"In many situations, one cannot simply “let go” - one must dis-attach oneself. I think this is something many of us experience. This unspoken journey that many of us are experiencing – there’s shame in it, it’s confusing and it’s messy – but there’s nothing wrong with it or wrong with us when we feel this way.
The act of re-tuning, on a physical and emotional level, and the deliberate process required to dis-attach is something I feel is very relevant, under-appreciated, and necessary."

Thank you for being a part of WCD’s community and
appreciating the power of dance.
It’s because of our community that we’ve been able to create and produce contemporary dance in Winnipeg since 1964.
Donations help make dance possible. Donations help make shows possible. Donations help make new creations possible. Donations help provide professional training for dancers. And donations help keep the Rachel Browne Theatre open for a wide variety of shows.
