Hear from Idan Cohen!

"Philip Glass is one of the most important and influential composers of the 20-21st century. Glass' unique interpretation of time, through his repetitive, minimalist sound scores inspired this creation," Cohen explains. "The dancers and I are having a lot of fun studying and being playful with the music, creating our interpretation of Glass' music. I find this work extremely thought-provoking, and emotionally rewarding."

"I love working with dancers outside of Ne.Sans, my Vancouver-based company," Cohen says. "I always find it to be highly inspirational and revitalizing. Different personalities, different movement qualities. It challenges and excites me, and I've learned to love each and every one of the beautiful WCD dancers, as artists, and humans."

Thanks so much to our publicist, Pamela Roz, who recently interviewed Guest Choreographer, Idan Cohen.

If you want to hear more from Idan Cohen, please join us for WCD’s Artist Talk following the matinee performance on Sunday, February 12, moderated by WCD’s Programming Support, Ian Mozdzen.
