EWB Washington Univ. Chapter Seeking Mentors!

Engineers Without Borders, Washington University in St. Louis Student Chapter is working on a project with the Omoana House in the St. Francis community outside of Jinja, Uganda. The Omoana House is a center that houses orphans and children affected by HIV/AIDS. The main objectives of the project are to create an irrigation system for their 10-acre farm and to provide access to clean water for 500 households in the area. Additionally, we will be looking into properly ventilating the kitchen. We will be traveling for our assessment trip in either June or August of 2019 for approximately 2 weeks. We are looking for mentors to support our projects in a technical review capacity, and for those interested in traveling to support our technical assessment work on site.
