Stepping it up for Ministry!
THANK YOU
to the 12 families/members/friends ("pledging units") who have pledged/donated $29,657.98 to our Ministry Foundation Fund to bring a minister here. We're closing in on halfway to our $75K goal, with much fewer than half of our 75 pledging units responding. We're on our way!
Help us keep "stepping it up." Please bring in your forms this Sunday for donations to the Foundation Fund and for your pledge to help 2017-8 be another great year at UUFEC.
March 19: Bring a Friend for our special speaker, Rev. Gordon Gibson
Rev. Gordon Gibson, retired UU minister, civil rights activist, and author of Southern Witness, will step out of retirement for a day to share a message with us about how UUs can make a difference and help us celebrate our progress in raising funds for ministry. Bring a friend or two.
We will also celebrate with a fabulous spaghetti lunch during second hour (and Rev. Gordon will sign books). Details coming soon!
UUFEC's Board of Trustees will hold its March meeting on Monday, March 20, at 6:30 at UUFEC. Please send any agenda items to President Josh Ashley by Wednesday, March 15 (president@uufec.com).
