In a joint letter, UUA President Rev. Peter Morales and UU Service Committee President and CEO Hon. Thomas Andrews invite you to sign the Declaration of Conscience. The letter reads in part, "There is a sense of urgency, and a need for vigilance. And there is clarity that we must act, not alone, but together. We need everyone—including you, your congregation, your friends, and your colleagues." The letter invites UUs to "join us in standing on the side of love, protecting the most vulnerable among us, and defending core values that are under attack."

"We are now faced with the fact that tomorrow is today...."
As we reflect this week on how to honor the work of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., these words from from his book, Where Do We Go From Here, are especially poignant. Read thoughts from Rev. Ken Hurto, lead executive of the UU Southern Region in the mid-January Regional newsletter by clicking here. Learn about the UU presence at tomorrow's March in DC (and be sure to hear the experience of our own Elizabeth Ashley on Feb. 5) and catch up on Regional news and regular features, including the stewardship blog, upcoming events, including a Mid-south gathering in April 7-9 in Nashville
