Hello Friend! We are still missing being back at the theatre but we have lots of work going on behind the scenes. We will soon be able to open our big, red doors and welcome you back to our even more comfortable theatre. In the meantime, here is a reminder for our upcoming virtual events.

The refit of the toilets is progressing really well and we are in the process of upgrading our green room and dressing rooms too.

Our cosy little theatre is becoming even more comfortable. We can't wait to welcome you all back.

It's almost here! We now have just a few days until our next Virtual Open Mic Night on the 4th September. We go live at 7 pm and we'd love you to join us!

There are three ways to participate: you can send us a pre-recorded video to play out (see the dropbox upload link below) and then sit back and enjoy the show on the night or you can perform live on the evening via Zoom.

If you would rather just watch and listen without performing that's fine too - just follow the Zoom link to join us on the night. You don't even need to have your microphone or camera on, but there is a chance to chat during intervals.

Get your videos sent in soon or let us know if you'd like to perform live on the night - you can send us a message via our Facebook page.

We hope to see you there! 🙂

Did  you  know ?

Our first open mic night was in July 2015. It soon became a popular night out and quickly found a regular monthly spot in the theatre's calendar, as well as a Christmas special. We have seen all kinds of performers and a from a large age range. You can visit our gallery to see some of our archive photos.

This year, lockdown has necessitated the virtual open mic night, but we have enjoyed them so much that we are working on a way to keep the Zoom link part of the evening when we reopen. That way, we can keep in touch with our long-distance performers.
