A very special thanks to everyone who made it out to La Hacienda last Thursday for our first meeting since May. We had a great turnout and the evening was lively and productive.

Our speaker, Jason Burch, provided a very interesting presentation on his company’s patented germ killing LED lighting technology, as well as their charitable strategy to provide funding for at-risk youths through retained earnings. He mentioned to me that he was equally impressed with our group.

Please join us on Thursday, September 20th for 6:00pm at Trinity River Distillery for our monthly meeting. We will take a tour of the facility and learn both the science and art of distilling whiskey and aging bourbon.

Trinity River Distillery is known for their distilling process made with filtered RAIN water from Texas. Come join us as we learn about the production process of malting, mashing, fermenting, distilling, maturing, bottling and most importantly, enjoying.

Dinner is included with a tour of the facility at $25 per person.

Regulatory Compliance Officer

Job Description: The position of Regulatory Compliance Officer/Specialist (RCO) will support the Tetra Pak, Inc. US & Canadian Market Company as well as the NCSA Cluster as required, and will be responsible for supporting the Director, Aseptic Technology (DAT) with his duties as assigned to ensure continued regulatory and legal compliance with all US food laws and regulations as applicable to TPI US/CA's installed Tetra Pak aseptic filling &
packaging machine base. The RCO will support the TPI US/CA Process Authority (DAT) with regulatory compliance obligations relating to US food laws and regulations. In this support role, the RCO will serve as the lead for TPI US/CA's Tetra Pak Filling Machine Aseptic Qualification Program, ensuring all AQM documentation orders are efficiently processed and the completed AQMs are reviewed and signed-off on time per project requirements. In addition, the RCO will support Tetra Pak's 3-A Sanitary Standard certification activities, and the Health Canada
Packaging Material & Additional Material Approval Process, working closely with Tetra Pak's technical consultant.
