2. Suspicious log-in activity should be taken seriously. Do you recognize the device? Is the geographic location of the log-in familiar to you? Do you remember logging in at/around that time? 3. Promotional offers that are too good to be true, are probably SPAM or Phishing. Sorry to say, but you probably did not win that gift card or free vacation - so please do not enter any of the info required to "claim your prize." This is just one way that attackers are phishing you.
4. Watch what you click. Sometimes, all you need to do is click on the wrong link. You should know what you are clicking before you click it. Review site URLs before visiting. If the URL looks funny, you might want to reconsider clicking it.
5. Make your purchases with a credit card, instead of a debit card. Why? --because the consumer protection laws are more in your favor as it pertains to unauthorized/ fraud purchases are made with your credit card.
