Eco-Church Plans Hello everyone, you might remember one our Eco-Church plans was to buy Who Gives a Crap (WGAC) toilet paper collectively to get wholesale costs (as its often more expensive to choose an environmentally friendly product). I've signed up for a wholesale account and the prices are below (nb the prices on the wholesale WGAC page exclude VAT which is included in the final price so this is included below).
The order needs to be at least £150 to qualify for these prices and I think there is enough interest already to do an order in early September. If interested please email me hannahmorgan1975@gmail.com, its easiest if you buy a full pack of an item but I can add requests together (so my house doesn't turn into a toilet paper store!). If you already have a good stock but would be interested in ordering at a later date please let me know as this helps planning the timings of future orders.

This Weeks Prayer Points
Taiwan: Keep on praying for peace between China, the U.S. and Taiwan, remembering the people on the island, the Christians there, and other nations in the region which would be affected by an invasion of the island.
Egypt: Pray for the grieving families from the Coptic church in Giza, a poor neighbourhood of Cairo, following a fire in the church which killed 41 people, 15 of them children.
Armenia Pray for those in Yerevan who lost loved ones in a fire made worse by a store of fireworks.
Djibouti: Give thanks for a shipment of grain from Ukraine which is due to arrive soon, destined for those who are without food in Somalia and Ethiopia. Pray for protection on further shipments of grain leaving ports on the Black Sea.
Kenya: Pray for a peaceful settlement following the recent election of William Ruto as president. The election results are being contested by his rivals and last time this happened it led to violence. Pray also about the economic problems Kenya is facing, including the current drought.
Ukraine: Pray about recent explosions in Crimea which is under Russian control. The Russians are warning of severe reprisals if there are attacks there. Continue prayer for the safety of the nuclear plant in Zaporizhzhia. It is controlled by Russians who are forcing the Ukrainian technicians to work at gun point. Many countries are calling for independent observers to be able to take over supervision and for the Russians to leave. Continue prayer for both President Zelensky and President Putin and the Russian people.
Brazil: Pray for righteous government to be established through the up-coming elections. President Bolsonaro is wanting to carry on in power and his policies have been disastrous for the environment and during Covid.
Belgium: Continue prayer for the Prices and for the issue of the recent Ecriture worship disk.
India: Amid celebrations of independence, persecution of minorities including Christians, increases. Continue prayer for Janaki and her team and her visit to the U.K. next month. Pray for open doors for her to visit churches and schools, including when she comes to Harrogate.
Afghanistan: The Taliban are celebrating a year since the departure of Western intervention, but the situation in the country is desperate, with drought, lack of food and medical care, and virtually no education for older girls. Pray for the Lord's intervention.
Myanmar: Aung San Suu Ki has been sentenced to a further 6 years in prison. Pray for those who have continued to protest against the junta's rule at great risk to themselves.
S.Africa: Continue prayer for the Nobbs family that they will be able to visit the U.K. at the end of the year. Pray for protection and provision for the work and their Y.W.A.M. base.
Europe: Pray for all who are affected by drought and fires. The rivers in France and Germany are very low and huge numbers of fish have died in a river between Germany and Poland. Pray for farmers whose crops are failing.
International Y.F.C: Continue prayer for Sam's health. Give thanks for recent family celebrations including Cleo's 1st birthday, and for Martin's on-going support for International staff. Pray for proposed trips to Turkey, Croatia and Romania in the Autumn. Remember media team members, Jim in India, and Roberto in Sicily. Pray for the Lebanon team as they take a well-earned break just now.
B.Y.F.C: Give thanks for the church camp last week in Devon where Neil spoke each day, and for Molly and Lucy's work at Limitless. Lucy also worked at Satellite. Pray that Maisey will recover quickly from Covid and that the rest of the family will not get it, as they hope for a week's break next week.
U.K: Continue prayer for the prime minister of the Lord's choice for our country. As the nation suffers drought, pray that there will be a turning back to Jesus, and the values of His kingdom. Continue to give thanks for our health care workers and pray for all who are worried about price rises. Ask for wisdom for the government.
Paula and Jo: Pray for their health and guidance for future ministry.
Local: Pray for those who are ill and their carers. Pray for the Carman family as they continue Phil's sabbatical, and for Sally and others who lead in our church.
