This Weeks Prayer Points

Pacific islands: At COP27, the representative from Tuvalu highlighted the extreme problems facing their population and these of other islands due to sea levels rising. Pray for those nations as they face the prospect of possibly having to move the entire people-group to another location. Pray for the International community to be willing to help them and ask for wisdom for those involved in this. Also pray for those worldwide whose mental health is affected by anxiety caused by climate change.

Russia/Ukraine: Pray about the effects of the condemnation by 94 nations at the G20 summit of Russia and its war on Ukraine. Continue to pray for the Lord's intervention so that the war can end. Pray for all who are suffering so much.

Pray for justice for their families.

Israel/West Bank: Pray about the recent election results which will result in a hard-line policy from Israel towards the Palestinians, and for all those on both sides of the long-running conflict affected by violence. Pray for Christians from both communities that they may be peacemakers.

Democratic Republic of Congo: Pray for all who are fleeing from the terrorist group M23 which is backed by Rwanda. Many are heading towards the city of Goma. Pray for Christians to be able to offer support.
