Eco-Church Plans Hello everyone, you might remember one our Eco-Church plans was to buy Who Gives a Crap (WGAC) toilet paper collectively to get wholesale costs (as its often more expensive to choose an environmentally friendly product). I've signed up for a wholesale account and the prices are below (nb the prices on the wholesale WGAC page exclude VAT which is included in the final price so this is included below).
The order needs to be at least £150 to qualify for these prices and I think there is enough interest already to do an order in early September. If interested please email me hannahmorgan1975@gmail.com, its easiest if you buy a full pack of an item but I can add requests together (so my house doesn't turn into a toilet paper store!). If you already have a good stock but would be interested in ordering at a later date please let me know as this helps planning the timings of future orders.

Taiwan: Keep praying for peace between China and Taiwan, and remember Christians in both countries and Hong Kong.
Kenya: Pray for a good outcome from the election with no violence as the result is still being contested. Remember the other problems the country faces with the current drought.
Ukraine: Continue prayer for the safety of all nuclear plants especially the Zaporizhzhia plant where Russians are controlling the Ukrainian staff and putting them under enormous strain. Pray that President Putin will allow other nations to monitor the plant. Pray also for the situation in Crimea where there is conflict. Ukrainians celebrate their independence this week and it is feared that Russia will launch attacks on key cities.
Myanmar/Afghanistan: Continue prayer for people who are suffering a great deal under both these regimes.

China: There has been a severe drought all along the Yangtse river.
Pray for the people affected by this.
Singapore: Within the government there is a split between conservatives who advocate traditional marriage and defenders of gay rights. Ask for the government to have wisdom.
Europe: 15 countries including the U.K. are suffering from severe drought right across the continent. Pray especially for farmers affected by this and ask for rain.
India: There has been a move by certain Hindus to move the capital from Delhi to Varanasi and to take away voting rights from Muslims, Christians and other minorities. Pray that this will not succeed. Continue prayer for Janaki and the arrangements for her trip to the U.K. next month. Remember Y.F.C. staff in the current climate.
Paula and Jo: Continue prayer for health and direction.
Belgium: Pray that the Prices will enjoy good family time together during this summer holiday season.
International Y.F.C: Continue prayer for 3 proposed trips for Martin in the Autumn and for Sam's on-going health issues. Pray for accelerated healing for her and wisdom to know when to rest and when to be active.
B.Y.F.C: Give thanks that the family have had a break this week. Pray for each one in the changes they will need to adjust to in a few weeks. Pray for Jake and Grace's house move at the end of this week.
U.K: Pray for a way out of the current spiral of industrial action by a number of unions, and pray that in the current climate of fear and disruption for many, good solutions may be found. Pray for many to seek the Lord and His agenda for our nation. Pray about the influence of the media, arts and tech giants, especially on young people.
Local: Pray that Sally is able to be refreshed this week, and for Phil,on sabbatical. Ask for the Lord's blessing on them and their families also all who lead in our church. Pray that any summer visitors to our church will find a warm welcome.
