TB and brucellosis in bison could also affect the beef industry. Your opinion wanted
Drs Hall and Plotsky at UCalgary are working on a Parks Canada-funded project on how to manage the health of wood bison in Wood Buffalo National Park, with particular attention to tuberculosis and brucellosis. The economic impact of these diseases being transmitted to animals outside the park is especially important for the Canadian beef industry. Please help us understand producers’ opinions about wood bison, the disease problem, and potential management strategies. The survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete. You can find it here. More information about the wood bison health issue and our project is here. Thank you so much!
