Gentec participates in genomics research to benefit Alberta producers and consumers

RDAR, Genome Alberta, the Government of Canada and Alberta Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Economic Development are co-funding 14 ag genomics projects with a total investment of $12.1 million. Gentec is participating on 5 of those projects, with a total investment of over $6.7 million. See the announcement and list of all the projects here.

Kinsella makes the big leagues

If you look closely at the cover of the June 2002 edition of the Canadian Journal of Animal Science, you might just recognize that it's our very own Kinsella Research Ranch, photographed by Gentec collaborator Carolyn Fitzsimmons, who is an author on the associated article, First-service pregnancy rate among beef heifers with different residual feed intake.
