This week's news: look at this fancy email

Holy crap, look at this thing! It's so smooth. There's photos IN the email. The text isn't microscopic.

In this week's email you will find:
  • ACTION REQUIRED link to finalizing your personalized holiday schedule
  • muzzle introduction
  • reminder about the week of Christmas
  • weekly notes on each pup

Now Read This: Choose your holiday session schedule

As stated in a previous email, this incoming session is THE ONLY session that you can pick and choose which days you want your dogs to go on group because everyone's schedules are crazy-pants and we have a few travelers that will be out for a spell. Our sessions are billed on the 11th/12th of each month and the session themselves are always Month1 18th - Month2 17th.

Schedule due:
THIS TUESDAY DECEMBER 10 END OF DAY

  • How to log your days:
  • Click this link to a doodle "poll:" https://doodle.com/poll/ngtgtvgec9r2vf3s
  • Click "calendar" for easier viewing capacity
  • Checkmark the days you want your dogs with group
  • Submit your choices (only visible to me)
  • That's it!

Submitting your finished calendar will allow me to charge you for only the days you need. If you do not submit, I will assume you are either not staying with us for the session or didn't read this email. If you are leaving the group or pausing for this session only, please email me right away so I can contact the families on our waiting list. One more time in giant letters:

SUBMIT YOUR FINAL DEC-JAN SESSION SCHEDULE BY THIS TUESDAY DEC 10TH 5PM IN ORDER TO RESERVE YOUR DOG'S WALK SLOTS. THANK YOU!

Little announcement: some of our dogs are muzzle training

Some of our members will begin muzzle training to help protect them from overzealous eating habits. You may see photos of a few in muzzles at some point. Mindy will also be muzzle training in solidarity. I've been meaning to muzzle train Mindy to prepare for potential emergencies where she is scared or people are scared.

If you are interested in muzzle training your own dog, please let me know and we can do it together. My plan is to eventually get a custom muzzle for Min from Bumas. They are recommended by instructors involved in The Muzzle Up Project, an organization that advocates for safe handling and teaching practices for dogs who need a little extra help.

SCHEDULE REMINDER: GOOD SIT IS CLOSED THE WEEK OF CHRISTMAS, SUNDAY DECEMBER 22nd THROUGH SATURDAY DECEMBER 28th.
PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

And now for the best part of our emails: the weekly notes

  • Davis did his best bouncy impression of a bunny in the dog parks this week.
  • Pepe instantly gelled with our crew and led the chase pack in the dog park on Thursday.
  • Kara tolerated her hoodie during the rain this week and continued to clothesline me as usual.
  • Bodhi also tolerated his own hoodie this week despite usually running around naked.
  • Rascal kept up with the big dogs and stayed in front on all leashed walks.
  • Yoda is so happy to be back, he did his best impression of a puppy on his third birthday!
  • Bianca got a taste of our TR group, herding everyone as they moved, bossing around the humans to give her treats, and settling on a person's lap for pets. She can't talk but she sure can communicate.
  • Diya showed off her handstand skills when some leashes got under her belly.
  • Frankie wants to know why she can't play with everyone when we are walking.
  • Luna has been highly attentive to me and has taken on the Kara position for the 1st shift. Down and to the left!
  • Dash has been living up to his name. Every time he sees a squirrel, he shifts into hyper drive and tries to pull the whole pack!
  • Cider diligently protects the pack by alerting us to potential intruders.
  • Bacon wants to know why everyone wants to go walk when there are perfectly good pillows in the dogmobile for snuggling.
  • Peanut showed us he really, really needs to get the squirrels. He joined us for TR walks this past week and jumped at least as high as he is tall. He almost got up into a tree on Thursday!
  • Rita has danced her way into more hearts this week at the dog parks.
  • Mindy loves having all her friends and yet ran away again, this time crossing a street, during one of our mornings. Yep. My dog, ladies and gentlemen.
Have a GREAT week! And get that holiday session schedule filled out!
