Happy Winter Quarter from us at the Hume Center for Writing and Speaking! We are so excited to introduce our Winter tutoring hours and new and returning workshops and events for Stanford undergraduate students. Whether you are an old pro or fresh on the Farm, we invite you to visit us at the Center now and throughout the school year!

Events and Opportunities
Join us during Parents Weekend for a celebration of writing and performance!
We invite you to read from your work and hope you'll invite your parents and other visiting family members to read from theirs.

Join the Hume Center's tutoring team. Undergraduates and graduate students are encouraged to apply.

Buckle down and get writing done for your honors thesis! Attend Honors Writing Boot Camps with snacks and drinks provided. Hume-106 | Sundays | 2-6 PM | Jan 11-March 8. We have camp on Feb 15. Find out how to arrange an alternate boot camp if you have conflicts.

Want a workshop? You or your faculty advisor can email us to request one! Topics may include writing your honors proposal, managing the honors thesis, and learning to write in accordance with the conventions of a particular field.

Drop by Tutoring in the Dorms! Work with a peer writing tutor on any essay for any subject.
