Connect yourself to the career of our FireFighters in the Laurentians.  This interview is with two very charming people: SOPHIE BELISLE  and  ANSELMO MARANDOLO. 
SOPHIE is stationed at Caserne 25 in Val-Morin and is part of the Régie Incendie des Monts.  ANSELMO is stationed at Caserne 44 in the Township of Gore.

Une présentation de l’Association Historique de Morin Heights
La préhistoire des Laurentides : “Partie émergée de l'iceberg”
Roland Tremblay, archéologue bien connu et spécialiste des anciennes civilisations du Québec, nous propose une conférence bilingue sur ce sujet le dimanche, 28 avril prochain à 13h30 au Chalet Bellevue. Il nous racontera et expliquera les découvertes de Jean-Louis Couteau, un plongeur de Morin Heights qui a repêché nombre d’artefacts enfouis  dans des lacs des Laurentides.  Fait à noter, cette présentation a été faite à Gore l’an dernier et a connu un retentissant succès.  Amateurs d’histoire et de préhistoire, ne manquez pas ce rendez-vous!
Frais d’admission: 5$ pour les membres de l’Association - 10$ pour les non-membres.
A presentation by the Morin Heights Historical Association
The Pre-history of the Laurentians: “The Tip of the Iceberg”
Roland Tremblay is a well-known archaeologist who specializes in the study of ancient Quebec civilization. He will be making a bilingual presentation on this subject on Sunday, April 28 at 1:30 at Chalet Bellevue. During this exciting and interesting talk, he will display and explain the significance of many artifacts recovered in Laurentian lakes by Jean-Louis Courteau, a diver who lives in Morin Heights. This same presentation was done last year in Gore and was met enthusiastically by attendees.  It is a must for anyone interested in the prehistoric past of our area.
There will be a charge of $10.00 to the public and $5.00 for MHHA members
