Message From the Dean

Dear Parents and Guardians:

As we embark on a new semester here at the University of Pittsburgh, I want to assure you that we will continue to work diligently to provide a learning environment in which all students are free from discrimination and harassment based on their race, religion, or national origin.

The safety and well-being of every Pitt student is of the utmost importance to us, especially at this time when our country and the international community are facing many difficult and complicated issues, when fear and anger are heightened, and when public debate sometimes results in the dissemination of misinformation.

The U.S Department of Education recently issued a letter to educational leaders...

From Parent and Family Resources:

Kickstarting a New Semester!

Second semester brings opportunities to return (or begin!) at Pitt with a new and fresh mindset. Sandy Talbott, Parent and Family Liasion, presents a guide for encouraging your student to set goals, best manage their time, stay fit, and explore their surroundings.

Your input is VALUED! Please complete this brief survey so that we may better serve Pitt Parents with more webinars, programs, and resources.

Many winter days in Pittsburgh are cold and cloudy. However, that does not mean that students should stay inside! Both on and off campus activities allow for constructive exploration and tapping into interests!
