  • though we'll take your registration right up to the day of we'd love a head count for food by the 10th.
  • if you are still on the fence just think about where else you would find so many of the best decon and reuse professionals under one roof?  [if you can think of one let me know...]
  • and this year we have done a lot of work to bring in architects, designers, and historic preservationists to deepen the connections between our industries.
  • so please join us if you can.

Now, for those of you who are joining us. Some basic info...

Registration desk

  • Registration officially starts at 12, but we will be set up by 11:30 so folks can get lined up for the tour.
  • Tour bus starts filling at 12:15 and leaves at 12:30
  • The pre-conference starts at 12:30 as well [no registration required].
  • If you are not doing either you can register anytime before we start. Just make sure you're ready to go at 3:30!
  • we'll be around all morning so feel free to come by and say hey earlier [though you may get put to work...]
  • As you enter the Eberhard Center just go straight ahead and up the stairs. We have the whole second floor and the registration desk will be at the top of the stairs.
Reception and Networking events
One of the things we heard loud and clear last year is everyone wanted more time to network and get to know each other. So a few things we are doing make sure we can connect more...
  • Opening reception will be right at the Eberhard Center, so no travel required.
  • Reception is hosted by Founders Brewing so we're giving two drink tickets to all then an open cash bar so folks can just hang and chat.
  • Awards ceremony will be shorter this year with only 4 awards.
  • This year we have an extra room set aside as a "Presenter Chat Room". It's right next to the presentation rooms and we are encouraging all presenters and Board members to head there after their presentation if folks want to follow up with more questions.
  • some of the local reuse furniture makers are creating a Reuse Lounge along side the vendors, right in the center of things. Hang out, chat with vendors, makers, or each other; right outside our presentations area
  • Networking night at City Brewing is just that. No speaches, no agenda, just a planned place for connecting with each other.
Final Word on the Tour
  • We closed the tour registration already since we were full. Many who registered are paying at the door. So make sure to get there early so we can take your payment and get you on the bus.
  • Bus leaves at 12:30
Airport and Hotel
  • if you are staying at the Holiday Inn its about a 5-7 minute walk from the Center.
  • see map for our locations
  • GR downtown hotels [including ours] don't typically have shuttles.
  • your hotel may if you are staying elsewhere
  • Metro Cab is about $38 to our hotel/conference center from the airport
  • there is a bus system but its about an hour with one or two transfers depending on the walk.
  • Lyft or Uber are likely the best bets other then the cab.
We at the BMRA look forward to seeing you all soon!
