Major new additions to Ampere Consumer, 'affinity' rating in Analytics + US Studios' D2C initiatives
Wave-eight data in Ampere's Consumer service went live last week, now including China, India, South Africa and Canada (20 countries in total). The Analytics team also launched a new report (To Affinity & Beyond - see below) which offers a first look at a new metric - 'affinity' - providing a proxy for the popularity of TV shows. This will be developed further over the course of this year, but initially covers 6,200 US TV-show franchises.
We continue to develop our new Commissioning Analytics service with a raft of new reports, covering reboots, co-productions, APac SVoD originals - alongside our monthly summary of emerging trends ('tear' sheets).
