Since the previous update the Consumer team has published a series of new reports - details are below.
We are currently getting ready for the second wave of this year's survey, which will cover 45,000 consumers across 22 markets. Argentina and Indonesia are being added in this wave.

Video piracy sinks
Analysis of polling data for ten Western markets indicates that video piracy rates have begun to decline, correlated with an increase in legitimate video consumption via subscription and catch-up platforms
Show formats dominated by UK reality TV
Ampere’s Commissioning service identifies 149 first run TV shows currently in production as remakes of existing show formats originating from other territories. UK originating shows account for 40% of the current slate of exported TV show formats, largely reality and other unscripted titles

The three major SVoD providers in the UK; Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Now TV, have increased the number of children and family TV shows on their platforms over the past two years.
