East Rosebud Still Needs Your Help

Here we are again – advocating for the passage of bipartisan legislation to protect East Rosebud Creek as Montana’s first Wild & Scenic river in over 40 years. The East Rosebud Creek Wild and Scenic Act has once again cleared the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee but awaits a vehicle for passage. This is a significant opportunity for our congressional representative Greg Gianforte to demonstrate his leadership and commitment to Montana’s wild places and Montanans values by voicing his support of the East Rosebud bill. Please take a moment (even if you have done so before) to ask Senators Tester and Daines and Rep. Gianforte to support this landmark bill. Successful passage for East Rosebud is needed to pave the way to protect many more cherished Montana rivers under the same designation.

"What makes a river so restful to people is that it doesn't have any doubt—it is sure to get where it is going, and it doesn't want to go anywhere else."
